This poster highlights key findings from a new report on the Global Religious Landscape (full report and sortable tables at http://www.pewforum.org/global-religious-landscape.aspx). In addition to new 2010 population estimates for the world’s major religious groups, this is the first report (to the best of our knowledge) providing the median ages of global religious populations. These results are the product of an international collaboration to evaluate and standardize data from thousands of sources in order to produce the best available social scientific estimates of religious populations in 232 countries and territories. This groundbreaking work is one component of the Pew-Templeton Global Religious Futures project.
